JAPANESE LANGUAGE LESSON 1

In japanese script has 3 kinds of letters which are hiragana(ひらがな), katakana(かたかな) and kanji(漢字). Hiragana and katakana are presentations of sounds and the katakana are specific used to write foreign names. However kanji is write as a chinese character.


Eg. 田中 さん は ミラー さん と デパト きます
kanji, hiragana, katakana
Pronunciation. tanaka san wa mira san to depato e ikimas
Meaning. Mr.Tanaka is going to the department store with Mr.Miller.

The hiragana and katakana table above are quite useful and effective for the beginning learners, memorise and practice to write its hardly!

The following are the simple japanese words and numbers.


おはよう ございます (ohayou gozaimasu= good morning)
こんにちわ (konnichiwa= good afternoon)
こんばわ (konbawa= good evening)
おやすみなさい (oyasuminasai= good night)
さよなら (sayonara= good bye)
ありがよう ございます (arigatou gozaimasu= thank you)
すみません (sumisasen= excuse me)

し/よん(shi/yon) 4
ご(go) 5
ろく(roku) 6
なな/しち(nana/shichi) 7
